How to Use PCR Laboratory Electronic Analytical Balance
2020-11-28 10:30
Electronic analytical balance is an indispensable and important instrument in quantitative analysis. A full understanding of the performance of the instrument and a proficient use of it are the guarantee of reliable analysis results. There are many types of electronic analytical balances, including ordinary electronic analytical balances, semi-automatic/automatic electro-optical projection damping electronic analytical balances and electronic analytical balances. The following is the use method and precautions of electronic analytical balance.

Operation method of electronic analytical balance:
1. Check and adjust the balance to a horizontal position.
2. Check in advance whether the power supply voltage matches (if necessary, configure a voltage stabilizer), and power on and warm up to the required time as required by the instrument.
3. Turn on the balance switch after sufficient warm-up time, and the balance will automatically adjust the sensitivity and zero point. After the stability mark is displayed, the formal weighing can be carried out. Or put the weighing paper on the weighing pan, close the side door, lightly press the tare button, the balance will automatically calibrate the zero point, and then gradually add the material to be weighed until the required weight.
4. Clean the weighing bottle when weighing.
5. The weight of the substance being weighed is the actual value displayed on the display screen when the "→" sign appears in the lower left corner of the display screen.
6. After weighing, the weighing bottle (paper) should be removed in time, and the side door should be closed. The power supply should be cut off, and the usage status should be registered.

Precautions for electronic analytical balance:
1. The balance should be placed on a firm and stable cement table or wooden table. The room requires clean, dry and relatively constant temperature. At the same time, direct light should be avoided on the balance.
2. When weighing, the material should be taken from the side door, and the door should be closed when reading to avoid air flow causing the balance to swing. The front door is only used for maintenance or removal of residual materials.
3. If the electronic precision balance is not used for a long time, it should be energized and preheated regularly, once a week, for 2 hours each time, to ensure that the instrument is always in good state.
4. Moisture absorbing agent (such as silica gel) should be placed in the balance box. When the moisture absorbing agent absorbs water and changes color, it should be baked at high temperature and replaced to ensure moisture absorption performance.
5. Volatile, corrosive, strong acid and alkali substances should be weighed in a weighing bottle with a lid to prevent corrosion of the balance.
