Pure water system, as one of the commonly used equipment in laboratories, is mainly used to prepare pure water for experiments, etc. However, such equipment may also be contaminated. What is the reason?
There are two ways for the pure water machine to be contaminated:
1. Inlet water pollution
Ultrapure water machine generally uses tap water, so some fungi will reproduce through spores. Even if chlorine sterilization has been completed, it is also possible to enter the interior of reverse osmosis in a state of suspended animation. There are no bactericides that inhibit the growth of bacteria and microorganisms in the pipeline from the reverse osmosis to water pump to the water outlet, so it provides a good growth environment for some anaerobic fungi or other microorganisms, thus polluting the water quality.
2. Pre-filter breeds microorganisms
Generally, pure water machines are equipped with a pre-filter, which is the last filtration before reverse osmosis. The accuracy is about 5 μm and has a strong ability to intercept dirt. This causes the trapped materials to gather together and form a microorganism breeding environment, thereby polluting water quality.
Pure water machine is a kind of water purification equipment that uses multi-stage filter elements to purify water. According to the water purification accuracy of pure water machine, it can be divided into domestic drinking water pure water machine and laboratory pure water machine that can meet the laboratory pure water quality requirements.
