Ultrapure water machine is a necessary equipment in PCR laboratory, mainly used to prepare pure water. In the actual use process, we may find that the water output of ultrapure water machine decreases. How should we solve this problem?
The decrease in the water output of ultrapure water system may be caused by the following:
1. Ambient temperature
The ultrapure water machine has certain requirements for the ambient temperature, generally 25 ℃ is better. If the temperature is too low, it can be used, but the water output will decrease as the temperature decreases. The data shows that the water output of ultrapure water machine will decrease by 3% for every 1 °C decrease in the ambient temperature, so first we can check whether the ambient temperature is too low.
2. Preprocessing problems
The ultrapure water machine includes three parts, pretreatment system, reverse osmosis system and purification system. Each different component uses a filter element with different functions. The filter element is a consumable, and the longer it is used, the worse the effect will be. Consequently,water quality and water output will also be affected, so it is necessary to replace the filter element in time.
3. Blocked pipeline
If the pipeline of ultrapure water purifier machine is blocked or damaged, it will result in water leakage and water failure. In this case, we need to contact the after-sales personnel for on-site maintenance, and do not disassemble it without permission.
